Using various everyday objects and back light, Azerbaijani artist Rashad Alakbarov creates mind-blowing shadow paintings.
My final cover for the little white lies project (before and after editing on GIMP)
I’m pretty happy with it, I really like the layering I created on and off of the computer c:
It’s the kid who loves to blow things up from Super 8, I know he isn’t the main character, but he’s the one who stood out to me the most and I really liked his face xD
Toshiyuki Inoue.
Augh! So much personality in these animations. That little bounce in the walk, with a subtle head tilt back and forth. That run is just a great child’s run, different from how you’d make a grown up move. And the middle one, standing against the wind.
That’s what great animators do: put in a lot of those subtleties and thoughts, making the character shine through.

Some pixel art for a 52 week project that I’ve just started ( 1 drawing every week fr 52 weeks P: )
The theme for this week was “Vegetables”, so I made this girl as a personified aubergine c:
It’s not my best pixel work, but I’m quite happy with it considering it’s my first real attempt at pixel work in a year P:
Here is a sweet comic by my old friend, Colin Heck, who is new to Tumblr. We met a million years ago working on a show called Mission Hill. This comic details Colin’s hiatus (a common occurrence while working in the animation industry) between helping us out on Korra’s Book 1 and coming back as a director on Book 2.
A comic I did a while ago, from whence my avatar comes. Click for the larger view. Korra fans might be able to spot a few (poorly rendered) guest stars in the last panel.
Why is it always like this? -_-;;
It will not be the same again this summer holiday, I swear it D:
